Writing for Vrinx

When writing for vrinx, please keep the following facts in mind.

Endangered

  • Their current population is estimated to be less than 500, and most likely found living as house slaves in the Krakun Empire. Some vrinx might be found in other empires, but these examples are far too low to sustain an efficient gene pool. No matter, the race is unfamiliar in most places.
    • A recall notice for the race implemented by Founder of Worlds Technology and enforced by the Slave Licensing Authority prevents vrinx from traversing into space any further. As of result, this has discouraged krakun to make breeding colonies designated for the race.
  • The location of the race's native planet and system is unknown. Information collected by Founder of Worlds Technologies suggest that their home planet no longer exists.

Culture & Religion

  • Prior to their encounter with the krakun, the race has traversed through space exclusively in a single generation for a millennia. The intent of this ship was to find new planet to colonize. However, due to the length of the voyage, many vrinx considered it as their true home. Eventually, the ship broke down within the borders of the Krakun Empire.
    • This attachment resulted in separation anxiety when Founder of Worlds Technologies attempted incorporate them onto gateships.
  • Vrinx are natural structural engineers. They will consistently maintain and improve any structure, if available resources permits it.
    • Along with the separation anxiety effect, one of their reasons for being recalled were for "frequent stops for maintenance" while on gateships.
  • Vrinx believe that their old generation ship exist in the afterlife. This ghost ship is referred to as the Drifting Ark, and boards the deceased for a voyage to heaven.
